Personality:

Raven gets lost in xer own head a lot, and is most commonly found staring off into the distance daydreaming. They're very quiet and generally don't speak unless spoken to, but are a very good listener and have a genuine desire to be of help to others. Xe tends to hide their problems away within xerself, leading to quite a lot of pent up emotion and upset. However, this is something they actively work to improve. They have a very flat, toneless voice and generally don't know how to inflect their voice to express different emotions.

Biography:

Growing up, Ravin was always considered the odd one out. With xer flat voice, unwillingness to speak, and general social awkwardness, people found xer strange to be around and even stranger to try and care for or introduce to others. As such, they faced a lot of bullying growing up, and this had a very negative effect on their mental health and self image

However, after a long school life with few friends and even fewer close connections, Ravin opened up to their parents about their severe health problems that they'd been hiding out of shame for years. To their surprise, their parents were very emotional about it and wanted to do everything they could to help, apologizing for not doing better over the previous years and wanting to move forward positively.

Thus, Ravin was able to start therapy and begin the process of recovering from a lonely and unhappy life + its effects. As xe went into a higher education, xe learned coping skills and was able to start making friends and communicating with others about xer struggles upfront, allowing for deeper friendships and forming a support circle. Xe has even been able to fall in love with someone and develop a relationship, and while xe still has meltdowns and breakdowns and struggles, xe is proud of xerself for the progress xe's made.
